Corona: Die aktuelle Lage am Landauer Campus

Liebe Studierende,

liebe Erstis,

die besondere aktuelle Lage fordert uns allen viel Improvisation, ruhige Köpfe und solidarisches Handeln ab. Hinweise und Überblick über die aktuelle Lage am Landauer Campus:

1 Der Start des Sommersemesters wurde auf den 20. April verschoben. Davor findet kein Präsenzlehrbetrieb statt. Wo möglich, will die Unileitung digitale Alternativen schaffen.

2 O-Woche: Die traditionelle O-Messe kann in ihrer gewohnten Form nicht stattfinden. Die Orientierungstage am Landauer Campus „in persona“ fallen darum aus. Alle wichtigen Infos zu eurem Erstsemesterstart erhaltet ihr auf alternativen und digitalen Kanälen. Zur Zeit konzeptuieren wir und und sammeln alle nötigen Infos zusammen – wir halten euch auf dem Laufenden. 😉

3 Belegphase: Die erste Belegphase beginnt am 07. April und endet am 12. April. Die zweite Belegphase (O-Phase) findet vom 14. April bis zum 20. April. Die dritte Phase beginnt am 22. April und endet am 15. Mai. Die bisherigen Phasen sind von den neuen Belegphasen unberührt. Falls ihr nach der dritten Belegphase einen eurer Seminarsplätze noch nicht bekommen haben solltet, könnt ihr euch an uns wenden.

4 Prüfungen. Ab dem 18. März bis zum 20. April finden vorerst keine Prüfungen mehr statt: Das gilt für die Fachbereiche 5, 6, 7, 8 am Campus Landau und sowohl für mündliche, als auch schriftliche Klausuren. Für Fragen wendet euch bitte an eure jeweiligen Prüfer*innen. Besondere Härtefälle im FB 8 wenden sich bitte an: fb8@uni-landau.de. Abgabefristen für Haus-, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten sowie Portfolios lassen sich bei Bedarf verlängern. Auch ein Prüfungsrücktritt ist grundsätzlich möglich. Wendet euch in beiden Fällen bitte an das Hochschulprüfungsamt.

UPDATE: Doppeleinschreibungen werden automatisch um das SoSe20 verlängert, falls Studierende ihr Studium nicht bis spätestens zum 31.03.20 abschließen können.

UPDATE: Falls ihr euer Studium aufgrund der Prüfungsverschiebungen nicht zum WS19/20 abschließen konntet, setzt unbedingt euer Prüfungsamt darüber in Kenntnis: pruefungencorona-ld@uni-koblenz-landau.de. Weitere Infos entnehmt ihr bitte der E-Mail „PrüfungenCorona“ vom 02. April in eurem Uni-Postfach.

5 BaföG: Das Ministerium Wissenschaft, Weiterbildung und Kultur Rheinland-Pfalz hat auf Twitter verkündet, dass BAföG für Studis weiter ausgezahlt wird. Durch die neue Regelung entsteht Studis also kein Nachteil im Sommersemester, selbst wenn Prüfungen verschoben werden und Leistungsnachweise darum nachgereicht werden müssen. Bei akuten Problemen wendet euch gerne auch an uns.

6 Beratungen durch universitäre Stellen finden telefonisch zu den offiziellen Sprechzeiten statt. Sprechstunden mit Präsenz finden nicht statt.

7 Leben in Landau: Bis zum 10. April hat die Stadt Landau eine Allgemeinverfügung erlassen, die den Betrieb von Spielhallen, Tanzschulen, Shisha-Bars, Vergnügungsstätten, Fitness- und Gymnastikstudios, Saunen, Indoorspielplätzen, Diskotheken, Musikclubs, Theatern und Kinos untersagt. Das Land Rheinland-Pfalz und Deutschland haben darüber hinaus verfügt, dass bis auf einige systemrelevante Ausnahmen (Apotheken, Post, Banken, Supermärkte, Tankstellen, Zeitungsverkauf, Wasch-/Hygienesparten, …) alle Geschäfte geschlossen bleiben. Das Verkaufsverbot für Sonntage soll aufgehoben werden. Für Gastronomiebetriebe und Hotels gelten besondere Hygienevorkehrungen und gesonderte Öffnungszeiten: 6 Uhr bis 18 Uhr.

8 AStA: Sämtliche Face-2-Face-Dienstleistungen des AStA haben wir vorsichtshalber vorerst eingestellt. Dazu zählen der Autoverleih, der Fahrradverleih, die Sekretariatsstunden, die Fahrradwerkstatt etc. Wir werden die Situation weiter beobachten und euch auf dem Laufenden halten. Für Fragen stehen wir euch selbstverständlich zur Verfügung.

9 Die AStA-Busse sind in den nächsten Wochen im solidarischen Einsatz für LandauHilftLandau und stehen darum nicht zur Miete bereit. Wenn ihr als Teil der Risikogruppe, als zur Arbeit Verpflichtete oder in Quarantäne Befindliche Hilfe sucht, oder anderen eure Hilfe anbieten wollt, könnt ihr euch unter: hilfe@landauhilftlandau.de melden. Bitte einer Anfrage immer den Namen, eine geeignete Kontaktmöglichkeit (Telefon/Mobil/Mail) und die nötigen Details anfügen! Anfragen und Angebote werden anonym veröffentlicht und Kontakte vermittelt.

10 UniBib: Die UniBib bleibt vom 17. März an vorerst geschlossen. Solange gilt: Gepräche sind per Telefon weiterhin möglicht, Vor-Ort-Ausleihen sind nicht möglich, Bücherrückgaben sind über den Rückgabekasten regulär möglich, Leihfristen verlängern sich automatisch um 8 Wochen, VPN-Services bleiben erhalten.

11 Hochschulsport: Der Hochschulsport an der Uni Landau fällt vorerst ausnahmslos aus. Die Leitung bittet darum, die Sportanlagen nicht zu nutzen.

12 Der Publikumsverkehr am Landauer Campus ist untersagt. Bitte betretet den Campus nicht! Das gilt für Verwaltungsangestellte, Wissenschaftler*innen, als auch für Studierende der Uni Landau. Auch die Mensa und die Cafeteria sind geschlossen.

Dear students,

the situation needs us to meet it with improvisation, calmness and solidarity. Here we offer you some hints and overviews on the Campus Landau:

1 The start of the summer semester has been postponed to April 20. Before that there is no classroom teaching. Where possible, the university management wants to create digital alternatives.

2 Document phase: The first document phase begins on April 7th and ends on April 12th. The second document phase (orientation-phase) takes place from April 14 to April 20. The third phase begins on April 22nd and ends on May 15th. The previous phases are unaffected by the new document phases. If you should not have received one of your seminar places after the third registration phase, you can contact us.

3 Exams. From March 18 to April 20 there will be no exams for the time being: This applies to departments 5, 6, 7, 8 on the Landau campus and for both oral and written exams. If you have any questions, please contact your respective examiners. Special hardship cases in FB 8 please contact: fb8@uni-landau.de. Deadlines for homework, bachelor and master theses and portfolios can be extended if necessary. In principle, withdrawal from the examination is also possible. In both cases, please contact the University Examination Office. Double enrollments will be automatically extended by SoSe20 if students cannot complete their studies by March 31, 20 at the latest.

4 BaföG: The Ministry of Science, Continuing Education and Culture Rhineland-Palatinate has announced on Twitter that BAföG will continue to be paid for students. The new regulation does not create a disadvantage for students in the summer semester, even if exams are postponed and proof of performance must therefore be submitted later. If you have acute problems, please do not hesitate to contact us.

5 Consultations by university departments take place by telephone during the official office hours. Consultation hours with attendance do not take place.

6 Life in Landau: By April 10, the city of Landau has issued a general decree to operate arcades, dance schools, shisha bars, entertainment venues, fitness and gymnastics studios, saunas, indoor playgrounds, discotheques, music clubs, Theaters and cinemas are prohibited. The state of Rhineland-Palatinate and Germany also decreed that with the exception of a few system-relevant exceptions (pharmacies, post office, banks, supermarkets, petrol stations, newspaper sales, washing / hygiene sectors, …) all shops shall remain closed. The ban on sales on Sundays is to be lifted, whereas shops can decide themselves wether to sell on sundays or not. Special hygiene precautions and special opening times apply to restaurants: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

7 AStA: As a precaution, we have discontinued all AStA face-2-face services. These include car rental, bike rental, secretarial hours, bike workshop etc. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you up to date. We are of course available to answer any questions.

8 The AStA buses will be in solidarity with LandauHilftLandau in the next few weeks and are therefore not available for rent. If you are looking for help as part of the risk group, as a person obliged to work or in quarantine, or if you want to offer your help to others, you can contact us at: hilfe@landauhilftlandau.de. Please always add the name, a suitable contact option (telephone / mobile / mail) and the necessary details to an inquiry! Inquiries and offers are published anonymously and contacts made.

9 UniBib: The UniBib will initially be closed from March 17th. As long as the following applies: Calls can still be made by phone, on-site borrowing is not possible, book returns can be made using the return box, loan periods are automatically extended by 8 weeks, VPN services are retained.

10 University sports: University sports at the University of Landau is cancelled without exception. The management asks not to use the sports facilities.

11 O-week: The traditional O-fair cannot take place in its usual form. The orientation days on the Landau campus are therefore canceled. You will receive all important information about your first semester start in alternative ways. We are currently looking for opportunities and collecting information – we will keep you up to date.

12 Public traffic on the Landau campus is forbidden, the Campus has „shut down“. Please do not enter the Campus! This applies to administrative staff, scientists and students from the University of Landau. The Mensa and the Cafeteria are closed as well, so please don’t try to get your lunch here!
